Ú ö  » iø ã ô à º is one who receives that security or pledge. ]ô  » iø ã ø à ø Ú ô ß» ä ö : He received or took some thing from him as a pledge or security for a debt he incurred from him.  ø â » à º and  ø â ô n» à º and  ø â ö ç » á º : A thing pledged; deposited as a pledge or security in lieu of or by reason of a debt incurred. Ò ö Ø % ] Ú »  ô p 0 eô Û ø ^ Ò ø  ø g ø  ø â ô n» à º : Every man stands pledged for what he has earned (52:22).  ø â ô n» ßø è º (feminine of  ô â » à º ). Also é is added to  ø â ô n» à º to give intensiveness to its signification.  ô â ø ^ á º is inf. noun from  ø ] â ø à ø and means the act of pledging; also the thing pledged being syn. with  ø ] â ô à º.
