It is also used to convey reproof. ]ø mø v » ø g ö ] » ô Þ» ø ^ á ö ]ø á » Ö $ à » Þ $ r » Û ø Ä ø Â ô ¿ ø ^ Ú ø ä ü : Does man think that We will not collect or assemble his bones? (75:4) Then the reply is eø ×F o i. e. We will collect them. It is also used to make a person confess or acknowledge a thing. ]ø Öø » k ö eô ø eôù Ó ö Ü » : Am I not your Lord? (7:173) and the reply Î ø ^ Öö ç » ] eø ×F o : They said, yea. It denotes a reply to a simple negation also. It occurs in 39:60 where it is said eø ×F o Î ø » q ø ^ ð ø i» Ô ø ]F mF jô o » (Aye, My Signs came to thee), preceded by that which is not literally a negation, but which has the force of a negation. 88 e ¡ e × o
