116 The commentary of al-Qa si dah   =/ ?  ;  l"5 &Z; @' $) Since I am being killed in the condition of being a Muslim, I am not concerned that in the cause of All a h, how my body falls. My dying is for the sake of All a h, and if He so wishes He shall bless every part of my body. ( S a hih ul-Bukh a r i , Kit a bul-Magh a z i , Chapter 10/10, H ad i th no. 3989) As soon as Hadrat Khubaib ra recited the last couplet, the sword fell upon his neck and his head separated from his body. It was a very dreadful and moving scene. Among the people who had gathered to witness this event was Sa‘ i d bin ‘ A mir, who later converted to Islam. Whenever the mention of the murder of Hadrat Khubaib ra ever came up in any discussion he used to faint. 19 The murderers of Hadrat Khubaib ra have been long forgotten and there is no mention of them but the name of Hadrat Khubaib ra lives forever.
