The commentary of al-Qa si dah 95 COUPLET 25 Only two additions had made the Arabs blind : Wine and women were all that they sought. In this couplet the second evil is mentioned which is drinking alcohol. The excessive number of women is in reference to those who were dancers, singers and those involved in sexual activities.
