11 َ َ فَقَال َ الرَّجُل ُ لِلنَّب ِِّ صَل َّ اہلل ُ عَلَیْہ ِ وَسَلَّم َ إِن ِّ سَائِلُك َ فَمُشَدِّد ٌ عَلَیْك ْ ف ِ الْمَس ْٔاَل َِ فَل َ تَجِد ْ عَل ََّ ف ِ نَفْسِك َ فَقَال َ سَل ْ عَمَّا بَدَا لَك َ فَقَال َ ٔاَس ْٔاَلُك ُلِّہ ِْ فَقَال َ اللہ َُّ نَعَم ک ِ ِ بِرَبِّك َ وَرَب ِّ مَن ْ قَبْلَك َ ٔاَاہلل ُ ٔاَرْسَلَك َ إِل َ النَّاس َ ٔاَن ْ نُصَل َِّ الصَّلَوَات ِ الْخَمْس َ ف ِ الْیَوْم ُ ٔاَمَرَك ِ ٔاَاہلل َ ٔاَنْشُدُك َ بِاہلل قَال َ وَاللَّیْل َِ قَال َ اللہ َُّ نَعَم ْ قَال َ ٔاَنْشُدُك َ بِاہلل ِ ٔاَاہلل ُ ٔاَمَرَك َ ٔاَن ْ نَصُوم َ ہَذَا ْر َ مِن ْ السَّنَۃ ِ قَال َ اللہ َُّ نَعَم ْ قَال َ ٔاَنْشُدُك َ بِاہلل ِ ٔاَاہلل ُ ٔاَمَرَك َ ٔاَن ْ ت َٔاْخُذ ھ َّ ُ الش َا عَل َ فُقَرَائِنَا فَقَال َ النَّب ُِّ صَل َّ اہلل ھ ُ ہَذِہ ِ الصَّدَقَۃ َ مِن ْ ٔاَغْنِیَائِنَا فَتَقْسِمَ ٍ عَلَیْہ ِ وَسَلَّم َ اللہ َُّ نَعَم ْ فَقَال َ الرَّجُل ُ ٓامَنْت ُ بِمَا جِئْت َ بِہ ِ و َٔاَنَا رَسُول مَن ْ وَرَائِی مِن ْ قَوْمِی و َٔاَنَا ضِمَام ُ بْن ُ ثَعْلَبَۃ َ ٔاَخُو بَن ِ سَعْد ِ بْن ِ بَكْر Anas, son of Malik narrates that while they were sitting in the mosque with the Holy Prophet sa , a man came on a camel, made it sit in the precincts of the mosque and tied it with a rope therein. He then asked, ‘Who among you is Muhammad sa ?’ At that time the Holy Prophet sa was sitting amongst us (companions) reclining on a pillow. We replied, ‘The white man reclining on the pillow’ The man then addressed him ‘O son of Abdul-Mutalib’ and the Prophet sa replied, ‘I am here to answer your questions. ’ The man then said, ‘I want to ask you a few things and I will be fierce in questioning, so do not get angry with me’. The Prophet sa said, ‘Ask whatever you want. ’ The man said,
