10 the Quranic declaration (Ta Ha,Verse 62) will not only be deprived of Divine assistence and fail in his purpose but will also be liable to be punished Almighty as is said: َّ ثُم. ِ لََخَذْنَا مِنْہ ُ بِالْیَمِنی. ِ َ قَاوِیل ْء وَلَو ْ تَقَوَّل َ عَلَیْنَا بَعْض َ ال ( Al-Haqqah Verse 45 - 47 ). َ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْہ ُ الْوَتِنی (And if he had falsely attributed even a trivial statement to us, We would surely have seized him by the right hand, then surely We would have severed his jugular vein. ) 3. One of the traditions of the Holy Prophet sa states that once a person came to Medina and in the presence of the companions of the Prophet sa , asked the Prophet sa to justify his claim of prophethood by swearing upon Almighty God. And when the Holy Prophet sa did so, the man accepted him. The complete tradition recorded in Sahih Bukhari is as follows: ِ َُ عَن ْ ٔاَنَس َ بْن َ مَالِك ٍ یَقُول ُ بَیْنَمَا نَحْن ُ جُلُوس ٌ مَع َ النَّب ِِّ صَل َّ اہلل ُ عَلَیْہ َْ وَسَلَّم َ ف ِ الْمَسْجِد ِ دَخَل َ رَجُل ٌ عَل َ جَمَل ٍ ف َٔاَنَاخَہ ُ ف ِ الْمَسْجِد ِ ثُم َّ عَقَل نی ُْ ٔاَیُّكُم ْ مُحَمَّد ٌ وَالنَّب ُِّ صَل َّ اہلل ُ عَلَیْہ ِ وَسَلَّم َ مُتَّكِئ ٌ بَ ثُم َّ قَال َ لَہ ْرَانَیْہ ِْ فَقُلْنَا ہَذَا الرَّجُل ُ الَْبْیَض ُ الْمُتَّكِئ ُ فَقَال َ ل َُ الرَّجُل ُ یَا ھ َ ظَ ْ ٔاَجَبْتُك ابْن َ عَبْد ِ الْمُطَّلِب ِ فَقَال َ ل َُ النَّب ُِّ صَل َّ اہلل ُ عَلَیْہ ِ وَسَلَّم َ قَد
