56 Fourth Heavenly Testimony Much earlier than the time when the dispute regarding Khilafat began I had seen the vision that I mentioned earlier and which the Promised Messiah as had noted down [in his note book] in his own handwriting. Also, I had seen the dream in which God Almighty gave the good news of the burning of some of the heads of the hypocrites as a consequence of the questions raised by Mir Muhammad Ishaq. Despite all this, I felt heavy at heart and wished that God may reveal to me the details of the impending confrontation. Therefore, I repeatedly prayed to God about it. I wished God may explained to me the details of the problems destined to appear in the future. I repeatedly prayed to God for the truth to be revealed to me, and reality to be manifested. I beseeched Him to reveal the truth no matter who is favoured, for I was not bound by any party, rather, I only wanted God to be pleased with me. I kept praying in this way during the days preceding the public meeting, but was not informed of anything. But then the night came and the next morning the meeting was due to begin and the questions were going to be read out. That night I became extremely restless and my heart was beating faster than usual. I became truly worried, for I did not know what to do. That night, I wept bitterly before my Lord and submitted to Him that the issue was going to be discussed in the morning, and that I wished He would guide me about the party who was in the right. I prayed that though at that time I considered Khilafat to be in the right, my sole desire was to please my Lord and that I was not going to be insistent on any belief.
