122 it. Even though he has received this money unknowingly, his body will not be blessed by the food bought and consumed, nor will his other assets be blessed in any way by the use of this money. But should such a person, in view of the divine commandment, spare a part of his wealth and donate it as Zakat, his wealth will continue to be purified. And even if there had been a part of his wealth which was not earned in a pure manner, it will return to its true owner, who is God, through Zakat rather than being spent on his personal comfort or pleasure. The remaining sum of his money will remain pure and clean, and everything that belongs to him will become blessed because of his consuming and benefitting from lawfully earned money.
