B AR Ā H Ī N-E-A H M ADIY YA — PART F IV E 556 could not be straightened. So those who shall believe in him, and shall strengthen him by joining him, and shall help him, and shall follow the light that has been sent down with him—they shall be delivered from the adversities of this world and the Hereafter. Page 225, al-A‘r a f, Part 9 —1 ْلُق اَهُّيَاٰۤي ُساَّنلا ْيِّنِا ُلْوُسَر ِهّٰللا ْمُكْيَلِا اَعْيِمَج [Page] 228 —2 َو َنْيِذَّلا َنْوُكِّسَمُي ِبٰتِكْلاِب َو اوُماَقَا َةوٰلَّصلا١ؕ اَّنِا اَل ُعْيِضُن َرْجَا َنْيِحِلْصُمْلا And those who hold fast the Book, and establish Prayer, We suffer not their reward to perish. Page 229 —3 ُتْسَلَا ْمُكِّبَرِب١ؕ اْوُلاَق ىٰلَب The faculties of souls, which have the love of God ingrained in them, testify in their very being that they have been created by God. Hence if the question was to arise as to how we can believe in the Holy Quran when there is contradiction between the two teachings, the answer is that there is no contradiction, because the shurtis of the Vedas have been interpreted in thousands of ways, and among them is one interpretation that also concurs with the Holy Quran. He who does not fear God treats a truth with such resistance as though he were being dragged towards his death and was trying to save his life. اَهُّيَاٰۤي َنْيِذَّلا اْۤوُنَمٰا ْنِا اوُقَّتَت َهّٰللا ْلَعْجَي ْمُكَّل اًناَقْرُف َّو ْرِّفَكُي ْمُكْنَع ْمُكِتٰاِّيَس َو ْرِفْغَي ْمُكَل١ؕ َو ُهّٰللا وُذ Page 239, al-Anf a l, number 19 —4 ِلْضَفْلا ِمْيِظَعْلا 1.
