BarĀhĪn-e-a H madiyya — Part Four 398 through the attribute of jal a l. Even with regard to the noble Prophets it has been the way of the One True God that they are nurtured con- tinually through the operation of the attribute of jam a l, but sometimes the attributes of jal a l also come into operation to demonstrate their steadfastness and their high moral qualities. They were afflicted with all types of tribulation at the hands of evil people so that their high moral qualities, which cannot be demonstrated without the pressure of great suffering, may be demonstrated and people of the world may know that they are not weak but are truly faithful. ذا اال سحر یؤثر. لن نؤمن لك حتی نری الل ّٰ جھرۃ. ال یصدق ه ذا ان ه وقالوا انّٰی لك السفیہ اال سیفۃ الھال ك. عدو لی و عدو لك قل اتی امر الل ّٰ فال تستعجلوہ. اذا جاء نصرالل ّٰ الست بربکم قالوا بلٰی. They will ask, ‘Wherefrom have you obtained this? This is merely deception that has been employed. We shall not believe until we see God with our own eyes. ’ A foolish one does not confirm anything except the stroke of destruction. [He] is My enemy and your enemy. Say, ‘The decree of Allah is imminent; do not try to hasten it. ’ When the help of Allah arrives it will be asked, ‘Am I not your Lord?’ They will answer, ‘Of course. ’ فروا الی یوم القیٰمۃ وال تھنوا وال ك اني متوفیك ورافعك الي َّ وجاعل الذین اتبعوك فوق الذین م یحزنون. تموت ه ان الل ّٰ بکم رءُوفًا رحیما. اال ان اولیاء الل ّٰ ال خوف علیھم وال ك تحزنوا و ا اٰمنین. سالم ه وانا راض منك فادخلوا الجنۃ ان شاء الل ّٰ اٰمنین. سالم علیکم طبتم فادخلو ا. سمع الل ّٰ انہ سمیع الدعاء انت مبارك في الدنیا واالخرۃ. امراض ك علیك جعلت مبار ر نعمتي التي انعمت علیك وانی فضلتك ك اتہ ان ربك فعال لما یرید. اذ ك الناس وبر علی العلمین. یاایتھا النفس المطمئنۃ ارجعی الی ربك راضیۃ مرضیۃ ً فادخلی فی عبادی وادخلی جنتی. من َّ ربکم علیکم و احسن الی احبابکم وعلمکم مالم تکونوا تعلمون. وان ا. ه تعدوا نعمۃ الل ّٰ ال تحصو I shall give you full reward and shall raise you towards Me. I shall place those who follow you—that is, truly enter into the fold of the followers of Allah and the Messenger—above those who deny you until the Day of Judgment.
