Footnote Number Eleven 151 لگ نخس آومتخ ن � ی ف� لبلب از مشچ دبوتخ ہك رکنم ازوے امہں The nightingale has learnt to sing through the favour of the rose; He alone can deny this, who has shut his eyes. آالشئ وگاہ اعمل ہمہ ش � ی � ئ � ااقل و ویح ز َ رکنم َ �بْلَہ ا The entire world is a witness to the bounties of God; Only a fool denies His revelation and inspiration. �اں ش � ن �ب� وخد اجبن اپاکں رہم اجن نم مہ از اپاکں ى ات وش Cherish in your heart the love of the pious ones, So that you too, my dear, may join the pious ones. م�ی�داردن قلخ ہلمج رخد یں � ا �بس�ی�ار ادن وچں وت ہك انز مک نک All creatures are gifted with this intellect, So do not pride yourself in it, for there are many like you. اجک �ی�ار ر �ی� ن �ب� ٔ ام اچرہ اجک زار لقع و یم � ئ � اجک ام How can we cope without the Beloved! What is our being! And what is the feeble reason! اناکیم و یشچ رفتق زرہ ااہلیم و ویح ز رکنم ابز You drink the poison of separation and disappointment, Yet you deny inspiration and revelation. اجن وت رببل از وخنردن آب اتب رو ِ زدنیگ آب از ابز You are on the verge of death for lack of water, Yet you turn away from the water of life. وراں دب�ی�دہ یں ک�ِ و یتسہ وکر رسخان و اقشوت ى دار ہچ وہ You yourself are blind, yet you harbour enmity towards those with eyes. What a pity! What misfortune and loss you enjoy!
