Footnote Number Eleven 115 ى رگد دجا ى رو وخد از ہن ات ى رگد آانش رقابن ہن ات Until you distance yourself from being self-conceited, Until you sacrifice yourself for the Beloved, �ب�ی�روں وخد زسفن �ی�ایئ ن � ات ونجمں او رباےئ ى رگد ہن ات Until you free yourself from your own self, Unless you become madly in love with God, ابغر اسبن وشد اختک ہن ات ابر وخں وت ابغر رگدد ہن ات Until your dust morphs into a cloud of dust, And until your blood pours forth from this cloud of dust, ےسک رباےئ دکچ وختن ہن ات ےسک دفاےئ وشد اجتن ہن ات Until your blood is spilled for someone, Until your life is sacrificed for someone, راہ اجانں وکبےئ ددنہت وچں وخد نک از راہ دصق و وسز اگنہ How could you be guided to the path of the threshold of the Beloved. Reflect over this with sincerity and depth of feelings. ں لقعرَمبکآں راہ ی � ا ت �یس� ن � وہش نک وہش نک وشم رمگاہ This intellect of yours is not a vehicle meant for this road. Beware! Beware! Lest you go astray. ِ وہا ز انف وبد اطتع الص اجک قشع ق ی � رط و اجک وت True obedience demands negation of the ego; Where are you, and how far removed are you from the path of love? ارصار از ر �بک�ب� ہتسشن وت اابکتسر دفاےئ یم�اں � ا رکدہ After sacrificing faith at the altar of your ego, You rest, relishing your obduracy and arrogance.
