الذكر المحفوظ 158 محمد (ﷺ) کو بلاشک وشبہ اپنے مشن کی سچائی پر یقین تھا۔وہ اس پر مطمئن تھے کہ اللہ کے فرستادہ ہونے کی حیثیت سے انہوں نے ملک کی تعمیر واصلاح کی ہے۔ان کا اپنا مشن نہ تو بے بنیاد تھا اور نہ فریب دہی ، جھوٹ اور افترا پرمبنی تھا بلکہ اپنے مشن کی تعلیم وتبلیغ کرنے میں نہ کسی لالچ یا دھمکی کا اثر قبول کیا اور نہ زخموں کی دُکھن اور تکالیف کی شدتیں ان کی راہ کی رکاوٹ بن سکیں۔وہ مسلسل سچائی کی تبلیغ کرتے رہے۔(John Davenport: An Apology for Mohammad and the Koran, p۔52,53) ڈاکٹر Marcus Dods لکھتے ہیں: Certainly he had two of the most important characteristics of the prophetic order۔He saw truth about God which his fellowmen did not see, and he had an irresistible inward impulse to publish this truth۔In respect of this latter qualification, Mohammed may stand in comparison with the most courageous of the heroic prophets of Israel۔For the truth's sake he risked his life, he suffered daily persecution for years, and eventually banishment, the loss of property, of the goodwill of his fellow-citizens, and of the confidence of his friends; he suffered, in short, as much as any man can suffer short of death, which he only escaped by flight, and yet he unflinchingly proclaimed his message۔No bribe, threat or inducement, could silence him۔'Though they array against me the sun on the right hand and the moon on the left, I cannot renounce my purpose۔' And it was this persistency, this belief in his call, to proclaim the unity or God, which was the making of Islam۔(Dr۔Marcus Dods: Mohammed, Buddha, and Christ, pg۔17,18) یقیناً آپ (ﷺ ) میں سلسلہ انبیاء کی دو بہت واضح خصوصیات موجود تھیں۔(اول) آپ نے خدا کے بارہ میں وہ سچائی دیکھی جو آپ کے ہمعصر نہیں دیکھ سکے اور دوسری یہ کہ ) ایک طبعی اور بے ساختہ جذبہ کہ آپ اس حقیقت کی خوب اشاعت کر دیں۔اس دوسری خصوصیت نے آپ کو بنی اسرائیل کے جرات مند انبیاء کی صف میں لا کھڑا کیا۔سچائی کی خاطر آپ نے اپنی زندگی داؤ پر لگادی۔سالہا سال تک بلا ناغہ ظلم و ستم برداشت کرتے رہے۔جس کا انجام جلا وطنی کی صورت میں ظاہر ہوا جبکہ آپ کو اپنی جائداد سے بستی والوں کی تائید اور دوستوں کے اعتماد سے ہاتھ دھونا پڑا۔غرض یہ کہ آپ نے اتنی تکالیف برداشت کیں جتنی کہ موت سے ورے کوئی انسان برداشت کر سکتا ہے۔ہجرت کر کے اپنی جان بچائی مگر پھر بھی کبھی اشاعت اسلام سے نہ
