The Teaching of Justice and Kindness Regarding Relatives 395 willingness to be dedicated in the path of Allah. For the same reason in the Waqf-e-Nau of children the same principle is applied. After having grown to maturity, if the children do not agree with the decision of their parents to dedicate themselves, their dedication is not accepted. The Beautiful Teaching of Treating One’s Children with Respect The Holy Prophet sa always admonished to treat one’s children with respect. This is a teaching which requires to be fully implemented in the world of today. By disregarding the Holy Prophet’s sa admonishment, the world appears to be filled with the evil that often children do not pay full respect to their old parents and leave them to their own fate as though they did not exist. Most often, the parents are themselves responsible for this. In modern society, most parents indulge in their own pursuit of luxuries and neglect their children. This causes a reaction among the younger generation to be disrespectful towards them when they grow old. The growing tendency to employ babysitters is, in many cases, a genuine necessity. When both the parents have to go out to work, they may need to employ someone to take care of their children during their absence. But when, having discharged their duties, they go out in the evening for recreation, they need babysitters once again. In reality, this is not fully justified. They should
