But the centre of gravity as far as human power is concerned, lay firmly rooted within the combined might of the Christian powers and the Communist Block, an erstwhile stronghold of Christianity. In this context, we can say that the two world wars have amply demonstrated the impact of human ideologies, doctrines and philosophies on man’s political, economic and social behaviour. A Warning System to Indicate Violations of Justice Let us now examine an efficient warning system which is related to the violations of justice within the human body. At the slightest sign of disease the entire human body becomes restless. Superficially this may seem to be an unnecessary encumbrance, while in reality it is highly essential for the survival and preservation of life. For it is the signals of pain that awaken the normally dormant defence system in every living form. The pain and discomfort serve not only as a general alarm, they are also specific in guiding the steps of the defence system to the precise location in the body where the impending danger lies. They also define the danger and its location so precisely that the defence mechanism takes countermeasures exactly to
