T HE W IL L—AL-WA T HE W IL L—AL-WA S S IY YAT IY YAT xii and women, and bear fruits in the form of their great accomplish- ments to come. The period that has elapsed since al-Wa s iyyat was written in 1905 bears witness to the absolute truth of the Promised Messiah’s revelations. The first English translation of al-Wa s iyyat was published in 1997. This new translation was done jointly by the late Chaudhry Muhammad Ali M. A. (Wak i lut-Ta s n i f Ta h r i k-e-Jad i d) and the late Mirza Anas Ahmad M. A. M. Litt. (OXON), (Wak i lul-Ish a ‘at, Ta h r i k-e-Jad i d). Munawar A. Saeed of USA contributed valuable suggestions regarding the format and style of the manuscript and translated the Persian poem for this edition. Indexing was pre- pared by Dr. Abdul Majid Shah. Please note that any explanatory words or phrases added by the translators are placed in square brackets [ ]. This current edi- tion uses the same text as the earlier edition, the only difference being a significantly different format, layout and design. Our grat- itude goes out to Asifah Wahab Mirza for formatting the book. May Almighty Allah bless all those who have contributed in their various capacities in making the message of the Promised Messiah as accessible to a broader audience. A m i n.
