The Psychic News (London) 20th April, 1946 published a photo- graph of the tomb of Jesus in Srinagar (Kashmir) with the descrip- tion ‘Here in Khanyar Street, Srinagar, Kashmir is the tomb which is believed by the Muslims to be that of Jesus. They invite investigation. ’ The journal also published a statement on the Ahmadiyya evi- dence regarding the death of Jesus. He began his articles with the words: We publish this picture and its interpretation believing it will interest many spiritualists who may not be aware of the claim made that Jesus did not die at Calvary, as preached by Churches for 2,000 years. It is also a matter of historical interest in which we take no sides. Readers can consider the following statement for themselves; After giving a short summary of the arguments from my book ? the paper closed its article with the words; ‘Here is a chance for archaeologists. ’ In the Psychic News of 11th May, 1946, the Editor writes: Our recent production of the alleged tomb of Jesus at Srinagar, Kashmir, has brought quite a number of letters from correspondence, some accepting the statement of the Muslim sect, some opposing them.
