PRAYERS 83 ْ ْ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢَّ اﻏ ْﻔِﺮ ْ ﻟِﻠ ْ ﺤَﺎجِّ ،وَملَِﻦ◌ِِ اﺳ َْ ﺘَﻐ ُّ ﻔَﺮَ ﻟªَُ احل ﺎج. 154 O All a h , forgive the pilgrims and also forgive the ones for whom pilgrims seek forgiveness. Prayer at Returning from Ka‘bah Hadrat ‘Abdull a h bin ‘Abb a s ra relates that the Holy Prophet sa used to offer this prayer (for contentment and increase in sustenance). Hadrat Sa‘ i d bin Jubair ra relates that reciting this prayer is preferable on leaving the Ka‘bah : ْ ِْ اَﻟﻠّٰﻬُﻢ َّ ﻗَﻨِّﻌ ْىن ِْ مبَِﺎ رَزَﻗ Zَْىن ِْو َ ﺑَﺎرِک ْىل ْ ﻓِﻴ ْ ª ِ وَاﺧ ٰﻠُﻒ _َ2 ْ ِّ Lٍُْﻞ ِّ 5َﺎﺋِﺒَﺔ ٍ ىل خبَِري. 155 O All a h , bestow contentment upon me for things You have granted and bless them for me. And grant me a good alternative of what I do not possess. Prayers at Meal Time Hadrat Ibne ‘Abb a s relates that Holy Prophet sa , Hadrat Ab u -Bakr ra and Hadrat ‘Umar ra came to the house of Hadrat Ab u Ayy u b An sa r i ra for meal. On opening the meal Holy Prophet sa said eat with this prayer: ِ َﺑِﺴْﻢِ اﻟﻠªّٰ َوَ ﺑَﺮ ِ ﻛ ّٰﺔ ِ اﻟﻠ ª. 156 In the name of All a h and with His Bounties. Hadrat ‘ A ’ishah ra relates that Holy Prophet sa said when a person eates he should start with the name All a h. If he forgets to take All a h ’s name he should say this: ُ ﺑِﺴْﻢ ِ اﻟﻠªّٰ اَوَّﻟªَُ وَآ ﺧِﺮَہ 157 In the name of All a h , before (meal) and after that at it’s end. Ab u Sa‘ i d Khudr i ra informs us whenever the Holy Prophet sa ate or drank he used to say these words:
