PRAYERS 82 place and then this verse of S u rah Al- H ashr. 152 ٰٓ ﻳ َ ﺎَﻳُّﻬَﺎ اﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦ آﻣَﻨُﻮا َّٰاﺗَّﻘُﻮا ْا ٌوَﻟZَْﻨْﻈُﺮ َّﻧَﻔْﺲ ﻣ ْﺎ ٍﻗَﺪَّﻣَﺖ َّﻟِﻐَﺪ و َّٰاﺗَّﻘُﻮا َّا َّٰإِن ٌْا ﺧَﺒِري ْمبَِﺎ َ ﺗَﻌْﻤَﻠُﻮ ن (Al- H ashr 59:19) O ye who believe! fear All a h ; and let every soul look to what it sends forth for the morrow. And fear All a h ; verily All a h is well aware of what you do. Khu t bah Th a niyah Umayyad caliph Hadrat ‘Umar bin Abdul ‘Az i z ra (died in 101 Hijri) added the following words in Khu t bah Th a niyah which form part of Friday sermons even today. ﻋِﺒَﺎد َ اﻟﻠªِّٰ رَمحَِکُﻢ ُ اﻟﻠªّٰ ”َّ إِن َّٰ ْ ا ِﻳَﺄْﻣُﺮ ُ ﺑِﺎﻟْﻌَﺪْل ِ وَاﻹِْﺣْﺴَﺎن ِ وَإِﻳ ْ ﺘَﺎء ِ ذِي اﻟْﻘُﺮْىبَ وَﻳَﻨÆْ َ ﻋَﻦ َ اﻟْﻔَﺤْﺸَﺎءِ وَاملُْﻨْﻜَﺮ ِ وَاﻟْﺒَﻐْﻲِ ﻳَﻌِﻈُﻜُﻢ ْ ﻟَﻌَﻠَّﻜُﻢْ ﺗَﺬَﻛَّﺮُو ن “ (Nahl 16:91) O the servants of All a h ! May He bestow His mercy upon you. ''Verily, All a h enjoins justice, doing of good to others; and giving like kindred; and forbids indecency and manifest evil, and wrongful transgression. He admonishes you that you may take heed. '' Remember All a h , so that He remembers you. Implore All a h so that He accepts your prayers and remembrance of All a h is the noblest deed. 153 Prayer for Pilgrims of Ka‘bah Hadrat Ab u Hurairah ra has told us this prayer of the Holy Prophet sa for the pilgrims.
