PRAYERS 32 (Az-Zukhruf 43:14-15) Holy is He Who has subjected this to us, and we, by ourselves, were unable to harness it. And to our Lord surely shall we return. 73. Believing in God's Absolute Power and Belief in His Promises The Holy Prophet sa said that a lost or missing thing can be found by reciting these verses of the Holy Qur’ a n : 35 َ ُرَﺑَّﻨَﺎإِﻧَّﻚ ِﺟَﺎﻣِﻊ ٍاﻟﻨَّﺎس َّﻟِﻴَﻮْم َﻻ ِرَﻳْﺐ َّﻓِﻴﻪ َّٰإِن َا ُﻻ ْخيُْﻠِﻒ َ املِْﻴ ﻌَﺎد. ( Al-e-‘ Imr a n 3:10) Our Lord, You will certainly assemble mankind together on the Day about which there is no doubt; surely, All a h breaks not His promise. 74. Prayer for a Good Beginning and End and Special Victory Hadrat ‘Abdull a h bin ‘Abb a s ra relates that these verses were revealed near the time of migration. 36 For a good beginning and end this prayer is tried and tested. ِّ ِْرَب َأَدْﺧِﻠْين ٍﻣُﺪْﺧَﻞ َّﺻِﺪْق ِْ و َأَﺧْﺮِﺟْين ٍخمُْﺮَج َّﺻِﺪْق ْ و ِّاﺟْﻌَﻞ ْيل َّﻣِﻦ َ ﻟ ﺪُﻧْﻚ َّﺳُﻠْﻄَﺎﻧًﺎ ًْ ﻧ ﺼِري َّا ْ و ﻗُﻞ َ ﺟَﺂ ُّء َاحلَْﻖ ُوَزَﻫَﻖ َّاﻟْﺒَﺎﻃِﻞ َإِن َاﻟْﺒَﺎﻃِﻞ Lَْﺎن زَﻫُﻮ ﻗًﺎ. (Ban i Isr a’i l 17:81) O my Lord, make my entry a good entry and then make me come forth with a good forthcoming. And grant me from Yourself a helping power. 75.
