PRAYERS 81 He taught us this sermon for any need and this traditional sermon consists of glorifying praising God, tashahhud and reciting some verses. Sufy a n Thaur i has mentioned these verses: ْﻳٰٓﺎَﻳُّﻬَﺎ اﻟَّﺬِﻳ ﻦ َ آﻣَﻨُﻮ ااﺗَّﻘُﻮااﻟﻠªّٰ َ ﺣَﻖ َّ ﺗُﻘَﺎﺗªِ ْ ۡ وَﻻ َ متَُﻮ ۡ ﺗُﻦ َّ اِﻻ َّ و َ اَﻧ ْﺘُﻢ ْ ﻣُﺴ َ ﻠِﻤُﻮ ن Ä (Al-e-‘Imr a n 3:103) O ye who believe! fear All a h , as He should be feared; and let not death overtake you except when you are in a stake of submission. ْ ْ ﻳٰٓﺎَﻳُّﻬَﺎ اﻟﻨَّﺎسُ اﺗَّﻘُﻮ ْارَﺑَّکُﻢ ُ اﻟَّﺬِی ْﺧَﻠَﻘَکُﻢ َّﻣِّﻦ ْ ﻧ َّ ﻔ ْ ﺲ ٍ وَّاﺣِﺪَة ٍ و ﺧَﻠَﻖ َ ﻣِﻨ ْ ﻬَﺎ ًْ زَو وَﺑَﺚ َّ ﻣِﻨﻬُﻤَﺎ رِﺟَﺎﻻً کَﺜِري ﺟَﻬَﺎ َّ ا ْ وَّﻧِﺴَﺎء ً و َ اﺗَّﻘُﻮااﷲ َ اﻟَّﺬِی ﺗَﺴَﺂءَﻟُﻮ ن ﺑªِ َْ ْ وَاﻻ ْ ر ْ ﺣَﺎم َ اِن َّ اﷲ َ Lَﺎنَ 2َﻠَﻴ کُﻢ رَﻗِ[ﺒًﺎ (An-Nis a’ 4:2) O you people, fear your Lord, Who created you from a single soul and created there from its mate, and from the two spread many men and women: and fear All a h , in Whose name you appeal to one another, fear Him particularly respecting ties of relationship. Verily, All a h watches over you. ْ ﻳٰٓﺎَﻳُّﻬَﺎ اﻟَّﺬِﻳ ﻦ َ آﻣَﻨُﻮا َاﺗَّﻘُﻮا ْاﷲ ْ و َ ﻗُﻮ ْ ﻟُﻮ ْ ا ﻗَﻮ ﻻ ً ﺳَﺪِﻳ ْﺪًا ْ ﻳُّﺼ ْﻠِﺢ ْﻟَکُﻢ ْاَﻋﻤَﺎﻟَکُﻢ ْ وَﻳَﻐ ْ ﻔِﺮ ْﻟَکُﻢ ْ ذُﻧُﻮ ْﺑَکُﻢ ْوَﻣَﻦ ﻳُّﻄِﻊ ِ اﷲ َ وَرَﺳُﻮ ﻟªَ ْ َﻓَﻘَﺪ ْ ﻓَﺎز ْ ﻓَﻮ ﻋَﻈِﻴ زًا ﻤًﺎ (Al A h z a b 33:71) O you who believe, fear All a h , and say the right word. He will bless your works for you and forgive your sins. And whosoever obeys All a h and His Messenger shall surely attain a mighty success. 151 As per a narration in the authentic Muslim at an important occasion, the Holy Prophet sa recited the same verse of S u rah An-Nis a’ mentioned above in the second
