۳۹۲ Recall Demanded The first to take the Against Mr۔Mbu's indiscretion was Maulvi Saifi, the Nigeria's head of the Ahmadiyya Anjuman community who sent a strong petition to Sir James Robertson, the Governor-General۔But the United Muslim Party has been rather blunt in its reactions۔Adapting the same form of protest, the two vocal leaders of the party in a six- paged petition forwarded to the Governor General as will, asked for the recall of Mr۔Mbu back to Nigeria۔The appointment of Mr۔Mbu as the Federal Commissioner was the act of the NCNC Parliamentary Party in spite of reasoned opposition from many responsible political quarters who believe that gentleman could not make that special grade۔The Muslim United Party which, is in some unholy alliance with the NCNC would not care to see the NCNC Parliamentary leader about Mbu's assault on their Prophet۔They protested straight to the Governor- General۔Apparently, they have no confidence in the leadership and are prepared to break away if need be۔The private activities of Mr۔Mbu in London points to one fact۔He knows little about his responsibility as Commissioner and in consequence, has too much time on his hand to pursue his private interest as best he could۔(Daily Service 13 April 1956)
