٣٩٠ This accusation was made in a letter addressed to the Governor-General of the Federation, Sir James Robertson, by the Chief Ahmadiyya missionary for West Africa, Maulvi Naseem Saifi۔Maulvi Saifi claimed in his letter that in a statement alleged to have been made in London by Mr۔Mbu, he spoke of 'fanaticism' of Mohammed۔This reference to fanaticism, he said, has injured to the feelings of a vast majority of the Moslem population of Nigeria۔He also said in his letter that Moslems have always given due respect to freedom of speech and worship and added that Mr۔Mbu should not be allowed to 'go to the length of using derisive and abusive language against the greatest of the religious leaders۔' The letter adds: 'Mr۔Mbu is To indulge in wishful thinking about his religion' (Mr۔Mbu had closed his speech under reference with these words: 'In the next fifty years Africa will become a Christian Continent') (Evening Times- March 28, 1956) ترتبہ : مسٹر ناوپر یہ الزام عا م کیا گیا ہے کہ اس نے اپنے فرائض سے بطور کمشنر متعین دولت مشترکہ روگردانی کی ہے۔یہ الزام مولوی نسیم سیتی صاحب رئیس التبلیغ مشرقی افریقہ نے گورنر جزل فیڈریشن کے نام اپنے ایک خط میں لگایا ہے۔مولوی نسیم سلیقی صاحب نے اپنے خط میں لنڈن میں ماہو کی ایک تقریر کا حوالہ دیا ہے جس میں ماہو نے مقدس نبی حضرت محمدؐ کی طرف ہٹ دھرمی کا حامل ہونا منسوب کیا ہے جس سے مسلمانان نائجیریا کے دل سخت مجروح ہوئے ہیں انہوں نے لکھا کہ مسلمانوں نے ہمیشہ دوسرے مذا ہب کی آزادی تقریہ دعبادت کا احترام کیا ہے لیکن وہ اس بات کی اجازت نہیں دے سکتے کہ مابو ہمارے عظیم مقدس را ہنما ؤں کے EVENING TIMES MARCH 28, 1956 سے روز نامه الفضل اور نومبر ١٩٥٧ء
