A Humble Servant Honoured by the Gracious God 175 فَاِنَّنَا َ النِّضَال َ اَزْمَعْت ُنْت ک ْ اِن فَاِنَّنَا َ النِّضَال َ اَزْمَعْت ُنْت ک ْ ُاِن ٍ ضَیْغَم ْ لِصَیْد یَأْتِي َمَا ک ْ ُنَأْتِي ٍ ضَیْغَم ْ لِصَیْد یَأْتِي َمَا ک ْ نَأْتِي If you are intent on waging war, I will pounce upon you like a lion hunting its prey. ْ َ نَـتَّـقِي ْ حَرْب َ الْعِدَا و َ نِضَالَھُم اْل ْ َ نَـتَّـقِي ْ حَرْب َ الْعِدَا و َ نِضَالَھُم اْل ُ َ یَتَجَمْجَم اْل ِ ُوَالْقَلْب ُ عِنْد َ الْحَرْب َ یَتَجَمْجَم اْل ِ وَالْقَلْب ُ عِنْد َ الْحَرْب I am not afraid to fight my enemies or to face their bows and arrows; My heart does not shy away from entering the field of battle. ٖ ِ وَغَیِّہ ِیْم ک ِ الْحَ عَبْد ْ اِلٰی اُنْظُر ٖ ِ وَغَیِّہ ِیْم ک ِ الْحَ عَبْد ْ اِلٰی ُاُنْظُر َلَّم ک َ یَتَ اْل َّ ٍ و َسَرْحَان ک ْ ُیَعْوِی َلَّم ک َ یَتَ اْل َّ ٍ و َسَرْحَان ک ْ یَعْوِی Look at ‘Abdul- H ak i m and his misguidance; He does not speak but howls like a wolf. ٖ ٗ بِضِرَامِہ ُ نَفْسَہ ٌ یُسَعِّر ِبْر ک ٖ ٗ بِضِرَامِہ ُ نَفْسَہ ٌ یُسَعِّر ِبْر ک ُ َّ الدِّرْھَم اْل ِ ُ ا ِبْر ک الْـ َّ ھٰذَا مَد ُمَا َّ الدِّرْھَم اْل ِ ُ ا ِبْر ک الْـ َّ ھٰذَا مَد مَا Arrogance fuels the flames of his ego; This arrogance was given birth by his [temporal] wealth. ٌ ِ جَھَالَۃ َثِیْر ک ْ ِ ال ُ بِالْمَال اَلْفَخْر ٌ ِ جَھَالَۃ َثِیْر ک ْ ِ ال ُ بِالْمَال ُاَلْفَخْر َ یَتَلَوَّم اْل ِ ُ الْمَاء ٌ قَلِیْل ُغَیْم َ یَتَلَوَّم اْل ِ ُ الْمَاء ٌ قَلِیْل غَیْم Pride in affluence equates to ignorance; Akin to a cloud which cannot retain the little water it has. اَمْرِنَا ٌ فِي ِ بَاطِل ُ الْمُخَالِف جَھْد اَمْرِنَا ٌ فِي ِ بَاطِل ُ الْمُخَالِف ُجَھْد َ یَتَثَلَّم اْل ِ َ الرَّحْمٰن ٌ مِّن ُسَیْف َ یَتَثَلَّم اْل ِ َ الرَّحْمٰن ٌ مِّن سَیْف The efforts of our opponents are futile against us; Ours is the sword [of the Gracious God] that will never face any detriment. ٌ َئِح اْل ِ ُ الْمُھَیْمِن نُوْر ْ وَجْھِنَا فِي ٌ َئِح اْل ِ ُ الْمُھَیْمِن نُوْر ْ وَجْھِنَا ُفِي ٌ مُّتَوَسِّم ْ نَاظِر ُم ک َ فِیْ َان ک ْ ُاِن ٌ مُّتَوَسِّم ْ نَاظِر ُم ک َ فِیْ َان ک ْ اِن The light of God shines on my countenance; If only one of you had the eyes for it! ِ بِجَنْبِنَا ِیْم ک َ الْحَ عَبْد َ یَا قُلْت مَا ِ بِجَنْبِنَا ِیْم ک َ الْحَ عَبْد َ یَا قُلْت ُمَا ٍ یَّصْرِم َ سَیْف ٍ عِنْد َخَذْف ک َّ اْل ِ ُا ٍ یَّصْرِم َ سَیْف ٍ عِنْد َخَذْف ک َّ اْل ِ ا O ‘Abdul- H ak i m! The words you have spoken in my opposition Are like a stone hurled against a sharp sword.
