154 ْ ُ تَعَفَّنَت ْ وَالظُّنُوْن ي ِّ َ مِن یَفِرُّوْن ْ ُ تَعَفَّنَت ْ وَالظُّنُوْن ي ِّ َ مِن ُیَفِرُّوْن ُوَمَا اِن ْ اَرٰی اَھْل َ النُّھٰی یَسْتَنْفِر وَمَا اِن ْ اَرٰی اَھْل َ النُّھٰی یَسْتَنْفِر Such are the people who run away from me and their suspicions fester; I do not find that any wise man could hate me. ْ وَاُوْذِیْت ُ مِن ْ عُمْي ٍ وَلٰـکِن ْ کَمِثْلِھِم ْ ُوَاُوْذِیْت ُ مِن ْ عُمْي ٍ وَلٰـکِن ْ کَمِثْلِھِم ُ یَنْظُر ْ رَأَیْنَاہ مَن عِنَادًا ُتَعَامٰی ُ یَنْظُر ْ رَأَیْنَاہ مَن عِنَادًا تَعَامٰی I have been hurt by the blind but, like them, There was one who we know who pretended to be blind but can see. ْ تَر َی ااْلَْرْض َ و َااْلَْمْوَال َ مَبْلَغ َ ھَمِّھِم ْ ُتَر َی ااْلَْرْض َ و َااْلَْمْوَال َ مَبْلَغ َ ھَمِّھِم ٌ مُشَرْشَر ِّٰ نَبْت هّٰلل ُ ا وَدِیْن ُوَزَرْعًا ٌ مُشَرْشَر ِّٰ نَبْت هّٰلل ُ ا وَدِیْن وَزَرْعًا You will find that land and wealth and crops are their ultimate goal, While God’s religion has become like stubble left after the cattle have grazed. ْ وَتَدْرِي الْیَھُوْد َ وَمَا رَأَوْا فِي مَآلِـھِم ْ ُوَتَدْرِي الْیَھُوْد َ وَمَا رَأَوْا فِي مَآلِـھِم َ تُغَیَّر اْل ٌ ْ سُنَّۃ َ فِیْھِم ُکَذَالِك َ تُغَیَّر اْل ٌ ْ سُنَّۃ َ فِیْھِم کَذَالِك You know about the Jews and what became of them— Similar is God’s decree with this nation, and it will not be altered. ً ِ زِیَادَۃ الْفُجُوْر ٍ فِي َّ یَوْم کُل اَرٰی ً ِ زِیَادَۃ الْفُجُوْر ٍ فِي َّ یَوْم کُل ُاَرٰی ُ یَکْثُر ِ وَالْفِسْق ُ النَّاس ُّ ص َاَلَح ُیَقِل ُ یَکْثُر ِ وَالْفِسْق ُ النَّاس ُّ ص َاَلَح یَقِل I see evil deeds are on the rise every day; Goodness is diminishing and transgression is growing. ٍ َ بِظُلْمَۃ ْ مُسْتَأْنِسِیْن کُلَّھُم اَرٰی ٍ َ بِظُلْمَۃ ْ مُسْتَأْنِسِیْن کُلَّھُم اَرٰی ِ تَقَتَّرُوْا ِ الْعَفَاف ْ دَار ٍ وَعَن وَفِسْق ِ تَقَتَّرُوْا ِ الْعَفَاف ْ دَار ٍ وَعَن وَفِسْق I see that they have attached themselves to darkness and sin, And they are moving away from chastity. ً ُ مَزِیَّۃ رَأَیْت ْ لَمَّا ُ لَھُم شَعَرْت ً ُ مَزِیَّۃ رَأَیْت ْ لَمَّا ُ لَھُم شَعَرْت لَھُم ْ فِي ض َاَلَل ٍ وَاعْتِسَاف ٍ تَخَیَّرُوْا لَھُم ْ فِي ض َاَلَل ٍ وَاعْتِسَاف ٍ تَخَیَّرُوْا I composed these words for them in poetic verse when I Beheld them transgressing all extremes in error.
