Behold the Help of My God 149 ٍ َّ جَرِیْمَۃ َ کُل ْ قَلَّبْت َ الَّذِي وَاَنْت ٍ َّ جَرِیْمَۃ َ کُل ْ قَلَّبْت َ الَّذِي ُوَاَنْت ٍ وَاَفْجَر ُّ نَاس شَر َّ کَاَنِّي ُعَلَي ٍ وَاَفْجَر ُّ نَاس شَر َّ کَاَنِّي عَلَي And you are indeed the one who ascribed every evil to me, As though I was the worst of creation and more evil than all others. ٗ َ تَخْشَی الْحَسِیْب َ وَقَھْرَہ اْل َ فَـمَا لَك ٗ َ تَخْشَی الْحَسِیْب َ وَقَھْرَہ اْل َ ُفَـمَا لَك ْ یَامُزَوِّر ٌ تَدَّعِي َ تُقَاۃ ُوَاَیْن ْ یَامُزَوِّر ٌ تَدَّعِي َ تُقَاۃ وَاَیْن So what has happened to you that you do not fear the wrath of God, the Reckoner? And where is your piety that you used to lay claim to? ْ َ تَضُرَّنِي اْل ْ ْ عَادَیْتَنِي َ اِن وَاِنَّك ْ َ تَضُرَّنِي اْل ْ ْ عَادَیْتَنِي َ اِن ُوَاِنَّك ٍ تَنَمَّر ْ بِغَیْظ اَو َ ذِئْبًا ْ صِرْت ُوَاِن ٍ تَنَمَّر ْ بِغَیْظ اَو َ ذِئْبًا ْ صِرْت وَاِن And if you engage in enmity you will not be able to cause me any harm, Even if you were to become a wolf or a cheetah. ِ فَمِنْھُمَا َّ تَارَتَان اْل ِ ُ ا الدَّھْر وَمَا ِ فَمِنْھُمَا َّ تَارَتَان اْل ِ ُ ا الدَّھْر ُوَمَا نُؤَزَّر بِاُخْرٰی ُ ااْلُْوْلٰی َ التَّارَۃ ُلَك نُؤَزَّر بِاُخْرٰی ُ ااْلُْوْلٰی َ التَّارَۃ لَك There are only two destined epochs in time; The first is yours, and the second is mine wherein I will be helped. ٌ َّ وَدِیْعَۃ اْل ِ وَمَا النَّفْس ُ یَا مِسْکِیْنُ! ا ٌ َّ وَدِیْعَۃ اْل ِ ُوَمَا النَّفْس ُ یَا مِسْکِیْنُ! ا َّ وَتُحْضَر ْ تُرَد اَن َّ یَوْمًا َ بُد اْل َ ُو َّ وَتُحْضَر ْ تُرَد اَن َّ یَوْمًا َ بُد اْل َ و Know—O poor creature!—that life is but a trust, And one day you will surely be returned and presented [before God]. ُ ثِمَارَھَا َ تُرِیْد اْل َ َ و الْحَیَاۃ اَتَبْغِي ُ ثِمَارَھَا َ تُرِیْد اْل َ َ و الْحَیَاۃ ُاَتَبْغِي ْ تُفَکِّر ٌ لَو َّ لَعْنَۃ اْل ِ َ ا ھِي ُوَمَا ْ تُفَکِّر ٌ لَو َّ لَعْنَۃ اْل ِ َ ا ھِي وَمَا Do you desire life and not its fruit? Life without its fruit is a curse, would you but only reflect!
