150 ً ُ زِیْنَۃ َ الدَّنِیَّۃ َ دُنْیَاك اَغَرَّتْك ً ُ زِیْنَۃ َ الدَّنِیَّۃ َ دُنْیَاك ُاَغَرَّتْك ُحَذَار ِ مِن َ الْمَوْت ِ الَّذِی ْ ھُو َ یَبْدُر حَذَار ِ مِن َ الْمَوْت ِ الَّذِی ْ ھُو َ یَبْدُر Has your abject worldly life made you arrogant? Be mindful of the death that will suddenly pounce upon you. ٍ ٍ وَّلَیْلَۃ َّ یَوْم ْ کُل ُ ھَوَانِي تُرِیْد ٍ ٍ وَّلَیْلَۃ َّ یَوْم ْ کُل ُ ھَوَانِي ُتُرِیْد ْ یُغَبَّر ٍ لَو ٍ مُشْرِق ْ لِوَجْہ ُوَتَبْغِي ْ یُغَبَّر ٍ لَو ٍ مُشْرِق ْ لِوَجْہ وَتَبْغِي You desire to humiliate me every single day and night; You want my luminous face to be covered in dust. ْ َ الَّذِي ُ مِن َ نَغِیْب اْل ْ وَاَنْتُم وَاِنَّا ْ َ الَّذِي ُ مِن َ نَغِیْب اْل ْ وَاَنْتُم ُوَاِنَّا نَتَصَوَّر ْ وَمَا نَنْوِي ٰ کُلَّمَا ُیَرَی نَتَصَوَّر ْ وَمَا نَنْوِي ٰ کُلَّمَا یَرَی Neither I, nor you, are hidden from that Being, Who sees all of our thoughts that are in our hearts. ٗ ِ وُجُوْدُہ َّ کَالْحُبَاب اْل ِ ُ ا الْمَرْء وَمَا ٗ ِ وُجُوْدُہ َّ کَالْحُبَاب اْل ِ ُ ا الْمَرْء ُوَمَا ُفَاِن ْ شِئْت َ نَم ْ فَالْمَوْت ُ کَالصُّبُح ِ یُسْفِر فَاِن ْ شِئْت َ نَم ْ فَالْمَوْت ُ کَالصُّبُح ِ یُسْفِر Man’s existence is but like a bubble; Slumber on if you want, for death will come to you as sure as the dawn. ً اَل َ لَدَی النَّخْل ِ وَالرُّمَّان ِ تَنْقِف ُ حَنْظ ً اَل َ ُلَدَی النَّخْل ِ وَالرُّمَّان ِ تَنْقِف ُ حَنْظ مِنْك َ فِي الدَّھْر ِ اَکْبَر ٍّ ُفَاَي ُّ غَبِـي مِنْك َ فِي الدَّھْر ِ اَکْبَر ٍّ فَاَي ُّ غَبِـي Ignoring dates and pomegranates, you pluck the bitter colocynth; Who then could be more unfortunate than you! وَاَیْن َ ضِیَاء ُ الصِّدْق ِ اِن ْ کُنْت َ صَادِقًا ُوَاَیْن َ ضِیَاء ُ الصِّدْق ِ اِن ْ کُنْت َ صَادِقًا ِ یَظْھَر ٍ بِالْع َـاَلَمَات ُّ صَدُوْق ُوَکُل ِ یَظْھَر ٍ بِالْع َـاَلَمَات ُّ صَدُوْق وَکُل And if you are truthful, then where is the light of truth? For every truthful one is recognised by his signs. ٰ َ الْھَوَی ِّٰ یَاعَابِد هّٰلل َ ا ْ عِبَاد أَتُؤْذِي ٰ َ الْھَوَی ِّٰ یَاعَابِد هّٰلل َ ا ْ عِبَاد ُأَتُؤْذِي وَتَجْسُر عَلِیْمًا ْ رَبًّا َ تَتَّقِي اْل َ ُو وَتَجْسُر عَلِیْمًا ْ رَبًّا َ تَتَّقِي اْل َ و O slave of your desires! Do you seek to harm the servants of God? You fear not the All-Knowing God, parading audacity.
