Behold the Help of My God 147 ٍ ِّٰ مِثْقَال َ ذَرَّۃ هّٰلل وَلَو ْ کَان َ خَوْف ُ ا ٍ ِّٰ مِثْقَال َ ذَرَّۃ هّٰلل ُوَلَو ْ کَان َ خَوْف ُ ا ِ تَعْبُر َ بِالصِّدْق ْ وَالسَّیْل ُلَوَافَیْتَنِي ِ تَعْبُر َ بِالصِّدْق ْ وَالسَّیْل لَوَافَیْتَنِي Had you even a particle of fear of God, You would have come to me and would have saved yourself sin- cerely from being swept away by the ego. ً َ جَھَالَۃ ٍ رَضِیْت ٍ قَفْر بِلَمَّاعَۃ ً َ جَھَالَۃ ٍ رَضِیْت ٍ قَفْر ُبِلَمَّاعَۃ ِ تُقْصِر الدِّیْن ٍ وَفِي لِفَانِیَۃ ُوَتَسْعٰی ِ تُقْصِر الدِّیْن ٍ وَفِي لِفَانِیَۃ وَتَسْعٰی You became enamoured with the earthly mirage that is bereft of vegetation; You run after the transitory world and are heedless about the Faith. ِ لِیَحْسَبُوْا ُْنَاس اَل ـ ِّ ل َ غُبَارًا اَثَرْت ِ لِیَحْسَبُوْا ُْنَاس اَل ـ ِّ ل َ غُبَارًا اَثَرْت وَلِیَکْفُرُوْا ًّ لِلْوَرٰی اَل ِ ْ مُض وُجُوْدِی وَلِیَکْفُرُوْا ًّ لِلْوَرٰی اَل ِ ْ مُض وُجُوْدِی You raised a dust storm so that people May think that I am misguiding them, and thereby reject me. لِیَرْجِعُوْا ْ قُلُوْبًا ْ رَبِّي َ لِي فَاَلْھَم لِیَرْجِعُوْا ْ قُلُوْبًا ْ رَبِّي َ لِي ُفَاَلْھَم ِ فَانْظُر َ الْخَلْق مَرْجَع َّ فَصِرْنَا ُاِلَي ِ فَانْظُر َ الْخَلْق مَرْجَع َّ فَصِرْنَا اِلَي So my God inspired hearts to turn towards me; And—behold!—I became a place of refuge for the people. ٗ َ حَوْلَہ َ الْمُلَبُّوْن طَاف ٍ اِذَا کَبَیْت ٗ َ حَوْلَہ َ الْمُلَبُّوْن طَاف ٍ اِذَا ُکَبَیْت ُ وَتُنْحَر النُّفُوْس ْ تُؤْذَی ُ وَلِي ُاُزَار ُ وَتُنْحَر النُّفُوْس ْ تُؤْذَی ُ وَلِي اُزَار Just as people perform circuits around the Ka‘bah, So do people come to see me; and the people of my Jam a ‘at [Community] are persecuted and slaughtered on my account. ْ ْ یُعِزُّنِي ْ وَرَبِّي َ تَوْھِیْنِي تُرِیْدُوْن ْ ْ یُعِزُّنِي ْ وَرَبِّي َ تَوْھِیْنِي ُتُرِیْدُوْن ر ِّ یُؤَق ْ وَرَبِّي َ تَحْقِیْرِي ُتُرِیْدُوْن ر ِّ یُؤَق ْ وَرَبِّي َ تَحْقِیْرِي تُرِیْدُوْن You desire to debase me, while God continues to exalt me; You desire to humiliate me, while God continues to manifest my honour.
