108 بَا ِّ کُنْت ُ امْرَءًا أَبْغِي ْ الْخُمُوْل َ مِن َ الص َ و بَا ِّ کُنْت ُ امْرَءًا أَبْغِي ْ الْخُمُوْل َ مِن َ الص َ ُ و َ أُصَعِّر ْن ی ِ ْ زَائِر ْ مِن َأْتِنِي ی ُ مَتٰی َ أُصَعِّر ْن ی ِ ْ زَائِر ْ مِن َأْتِنِي ی مَتٰی I was a person who, from the early days of his life, preferred seclusion; When someone wanted to see me, I sought solitude. ْ فَأَخْرَجَنِي ْ مِن ْ حُجْرَتِي ْ حُکْم ُ مَالِکِي ْ ُفَأَخْرَجَنِي ْ مِن ْ حُجْرَتِي ْ حُکْم ُ مَالِکِي ْ أَتَعَذَّر لَم َ ْ و ْ أُعْرِض لَم َ ُ و ُفَقُمْت ْ أَتَعَذَّر لَم َ ْ و ْ أُعْرِض لَم َ ُ و فَقُمْت It was the command of my Master that brought me out of my chamber; I, therefore, rose up in submission to Him making no delay. ُ إِنَّه َ ِ و ْم ی ِ الْکَر َ الْمَوْلَی ْ مِن إِنِّي َ و ُ إِنَّه َ ِ و ْم ی ِ الْکَر َ الْمَوْلَی ْ مِن إِنِّي َ ُو َخْفِر ی َ ٍ و ِّ دَشْت ْ کُل ْ فِي ُیُحَافِظُنِي َخْفِر ی َ ٍ و ِّ دَشْت ْ کُل ْ فِي یُحَافِظُنِي I am from God, the Benevolent; He protects me in every jungle and guides me. َا أَیُّهَا الْعِدَا ی ِ ْد ی َ ْع َ الْک ی ِ ْدُوْا جَم ی فَکِ َا أَیُّهَا الْعِدَا ی ِ ْد ی َ ْع َ الْک ی ِ ْدُوْا جَم ی ُ فَکِ مُقَدَّر ھٰذَا َ ْ و ْ رَبِّي َعْصِمُنِي ی ُ فَ مُقَدَّر ھٰذَا َ ْ و ْ رَبِّي َعْصِمُنِي ی فَ O enemies! Hatch against me all kinds of plans; God my Lord will protect me. And, this is what has been decreed. دَفْوُھَا َ مَضٰی وَقْت ُ ضَرْب ِ الْمُرْھِفَات ِ و دَفْوُھَا َ ُمَضٰی وَقْت ُ ضَرْب ِ الْمُرْھِفَات ِ و ِ نَنْحَر هّٰللّٰ َ ا ٍ مِّن بِبُرْھَان إِنَّا َ ُو ِ نَنْحَر هّٰللّٰ َ ا ٍ مِّن بِبُرْھَان إِنَّا َ و Gone are the times when swords were drawn for fight. I slay my enemies with arguments from Almighty God. ٌ شَوْکَة َّ ٌ و حُکْم َّ ٌ و ِِّٰ سُلْطَان هّٰلل َ و ٌ شَوْکَة َّ ٌ و حُکْم َّ ٌ و ِِّٰ سُلْطَان هّٰلل َ ُو ِ نَحْضُر ْإ ِشَارَۃ اْل ٌ ب ِا ُ کُمَاۃ نَحْن َ ُو ِ نَحْضُر ْإ ِشَارَۃ اْل ٌ ب ِا ُ کُمَاۃ نَحْن َ و To Allah belong sovereignty, command, and grandeur; I am only a knight who answers His call when commanded. ْنَا حَائِرًا أَجْھَل َ الْوَرٰی ی إِذَا مَا رَأَ ْنَا حَائِرًا أَجْھَل َ الْوَرٰی ی ُإِذَا مَا رَأَ ي ُ أَظْھَر ْآ اْل ا َ ْنَا کِتَاب َ الْبَحْث ِ و ی َ ُطَو ي ُ أَظْھَر ْآ اْل ا َ ْنَا کِتَاب َ الْبَحْث ِ و ی َ طَو When I saw Ali Hairi, who is the worst among the lot of ignorant people, I told him: ‘The Signs I put forth are evident. Why then is there need for any debate?’
