The Miraculous Qasidah 107 مَن ْ کَان َ خَائِفًا َ َتَّقِي ْ مِنْهُم ْ و ی ْ فَمَن مَن ْ کَان َ خَائِفًا َ َتَّقِي ْ مِنْهُم ْ و ی ْ ُفَمَن أَنْظُر َّ ٍ و َّ آن ْ کُل ُ طَرْفِي ُأُقَلِّب أَنْظُر َّ ٍ و َّ آن ْ کُل ُ طَرْفِي أُقَلِّب Who among them is fearful of God and who is afraid of Him? I turn my eyes in all directions to find one. ٍ ْھِم ْ ذُو ْ ص َاَلَح ٍ کَنَادِر ی مَن ْ کَان َ فِ َ و ٍ ْھِم ْ ذُو ْ ص َاَلَح ٍ کَنَادِر ی مَن ْ کَان َ فِ َ ُو َ یُوَقَّر اْل ْ ْنَھُم ی َ ب ْبًا ی ِ َ غَر ُفَکَان َ یُوَقَّر اْل ْ ْنَھُم ی َ ب ْبًا ی ِ َ غَر فَکَان And, he who will be possessed of some insight among them, Will be the poor fellow enjoying hardly any respect. جَاء َ کَرَھْط ٍ حَوْلَھُم ْ عَامَة ُ الْوَرٰی َ و جَاء َ کَرَھْط ٍ حَوْلَھُم ْ عَامَة ُ الْوَرٰی َ و شَطَائِب ُ شَتّٰی مِثْل َ عُمْي ٍ فَأَنْکَرُوْا شَطَائِب ُ شَتّٰی مِثْل َ عُمْي ٍ فَأَنْکَرُوْا And, the ordinary people came up to them like a crowd, A bunch of people who disagreed with each other and behaved like a blind person. Hence, they denied me. ٍ أَنَاخُوْا بِوَاد ٍ مَا رَأٰی وَجْه َ خُضْرَة ٍ ُأَنَاخُوْا بِوَاد ٍ مَا رَأٰی وَجْه َ خُضْرَة ھَل ْ عِنْد َ أَرْض ٍ جَدْبَة ٍ مَّا یُخَضِّر َ ُو ھَل ْ عِنْد َ أَرْض ٍ جَدْبَة ٍ مَّا یُخَضِّر َ و They camped in a jungle with no sign of vegetation; Can a barren piece of land generate any vegetation? ْ ِ بَعْدَھُم َ الث َّاَلَثَة تِلْك ْ عَلٰی فَأَبْکِي ْ ِ بَعْدَھُم َ الث َّاَلَثَة تِلْك ْ عَلٰی ُفَأَبْکِي ْ أَتَحَسَّر َقْفُوْنَهُم ی ٍ زُمْرَة ُعَلٰی ْ أَتَحَسَّر َقْفُوْنَهُم ی ٍ زُمْرَة عَلٰی I, therefore, cry over [the luck of ] these three: Sanaullah, Mehr Ali, and Ali Hairi. And, I feel pity for those who follow these three. ْ ْھِم ْ مَّخَافَة َ رَبِّهِم ی مَا إِن ْ أَرٰی فِ َ و ْ ْھِم ْ مَّخَافَة َ رَبِّهِم ی مَا إِن ْ أَرٰی فِ َ و ْ تَمَوَّرُوْا ٍ بِالْم َاَلَھِي ُ لِئَام شُعُوْب ْ تَمَوَّرُوْا ٍ بِالْم َاَلَھِي ُ لِئَام شُعُوْب And, I do not see them having even a little fear of their Lord; They are a group of ill-fated people taking pride in their wasteful activities. ْ َتِي ی مَا قُمْت ُ فِي ْ ھٰذَا الْمَقَام ِ بِمُنْ َ و ْ َتِي ی مَا قُمْت ُ فِي ْ ھٰذَا الْمَقَام ِ بِمُنْ َ ُو َشْعُر ی َ ْ و َّ قَلْبِي ْ سِر ُ رَبِّي َعْلَم ی َ ُو َشْعُر ی َ ْ و َّ قَلْبِي ْ سِر ُ رَبِّي َعْلَم ی َ و And, I have not taken up this task of my own volition; God, who knows the secrets of my heart, is well-aware of this.
