Response to the booklet entitled Ilh a m i Girgit 9 35. al-M ahi (Eraser of disbelief ) 36. al- Ha shir (Gatherer—of people under his auspices) 37. al-‘ Ā qib (One who comprehends the goodness of all Prophets) These three names are mentioned in the following hadith: هللا ُ عَلَيْه ِ وَسَلَّم……َأَنَا الْمَاحِي الَّذِي ْ يَمْحُو الل َُّ بِي َ الْكُفْرَ، ی َّ قَال َ رَسُول ُ الل َِّ صَل قَدَمِيْ، وَأَنَا الْعَاقِبُ. ی وَأَنَا الْحَاشِر ُ الَّذِي ْ يُحْشَر ُ النَّاس ُ عَلَ The Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: I am al-M ahi —Eraser of disbelief, and I am al- Ha shir —the Gatherer of people under his auspices, and I am al-‘ Ā qib [i. e. One who comprehends the good- ness of all Prophets]. ( S a hi h al-Bukh a r i , Kit a bul Man a qib, Hadith no. 3532) 38. al-Muqaffa (Well-compo sed—i. e. created in the perfect mode ) 39. An-Nabiyyur-Ra h mah (The Prophet of Mercy) 40. An-Nabiyyut-Taubah (The Prophet of Repentance) 41.
