An Ode by Maulawi Abdullah of Kashmir 49 ربام المتم یم دنک � ی � ش � غ � اجلہ دجسم وخایہ اب اہشن ابواقر ز �ی� غ از رباےئ � The ignorant, sitting in the mosque, reproach us, For showing our goodwill to the glorious kings. اتں ز گس س�ی� � ی � یم از وغاغےئ ا س� امیمن رت م رشم و گنن و اعر ی � از افنق و دبروی دار We are not afraid of the barking of these dog-like people, What we abhor is hypocrisy and bad morals. دنہواتسں ہش اابقل یم �ہ� وخا دخا از اناپک اعبطن ِ اہجں ام را ہچ اکر � ی � غ � پ ح اب We pray to God for the good-fortune of the King of India, What have we got to do with these impure, unclean people? رہ دم ہتسج ےم اب�ی� د انپہ یا الٰہ النّاس از ز�ی�ان دنمش اجین ہک ابدش لثم امر O Lord of mankind, each instant we must seek Your refuge, Against the danger of that mortal enemy who is like a serpent. اے دخاےئ کلم و اعمل وے انپہ اصداقں راتس ابزاں ارب رتمح را اببر غ ی� م� ربز O Lord of the realm and the world, and Refuge of the truthful ones! Make Your cloud of mercy rain down on the earth of the righteous. ش � ی � �ی�ددن از قح روےئ وخ پ ی� �پ� �این ہک ش �ب�ی� غ ح آن اناپاکں ربآر خیب آشت ااشفں ربرساشں The wicked who turn away from the truth, Shall be struck down by a fire that will wipe out the unholy.
