~ 234 ~ from sin, Verily, Allah accepts the repentance of only those who do evil in ignorance and then repent soon after. These are they to whom Allah turns with mercy;… 4:18 prayers for ¬ , 'Our Lord, we have heard a Crier calling us unto faith, saying, 'Believe ye in your Lord,' and we have be- lieved. Our Lord, forgive us, therefore, our sins and remit from us our evils and in death join us with the righteous; 3:194 'Our Lord, give us what Thou hast promised to us through Thy Messengers; and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection. It may be that your Lord will remit the evil effects of your deeds and admit you into Gardens through which streams flow, on the day when Allah will not abase the Prophet nor those who have believed with him.
