~ 233 ~ we shall surely be of the losers. ' 7:24 Moses said, 'My Lord, for- give me and my brother, and admit us to Thy mercy and Thou art the Most Mer- ciful of those who show mercy. ' 7:152 'Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believ- ers on the day when the reckoning will take place. ' 14:42 'My Lord! forgive me and my parents, and him who enters my house as a be- liever, and the believing men and the believing women; and increase Thou not the wrongdoers in aught but in ruin. ' 71:29 no ¬ for idolaters, Surely, Allah will not for- give that a partner be asso- ciated with Him; but He will forgive whatever is short of that to whomsoever He pleases. And whoso as- sociates partners with Allah has indeed devised a very great sin. 4:49 for whom He wills. . , And to Allah belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He forgives whom He pleases, and pun- ishes whom He pleases. And Allah is Most Forgiv- ing, ever Merciful. 48:15
