Malf uza t - English translation of Urdu Volume 9 160 1 ْمَلَا َكْدِجَي اًمْيِتَي ىٰوٰاَف۰۰ ْمَلَا َكْدِجَي اًمْيِتَي ىٰوٰاَف۰۰ Thus, it appears that some chastisement of the plague was to come in Qadian first and then Qadian was to be protected after that. The Concept of Contrivance in Shariah This most humble one inquired regarding the verse: 2 َو ْذُخ َكِدَيِب اًثْغِض ْبِرْضاَف ٖهِّب َو اَل ْثَنْحَت َو ْذُخ َكِدَيِب اًثْغِض ْبِرْضاَف ٖهِّب َو اَل ْثَنْحَت if it is given the meaning that generally commentators have presented, a door for contrivances would open within the Shariah. The Promised Messiah as said: Since the wife of Hadrat Ayyub as [ Job] was very pious and ever ready to serve, and he also was righteous and patient, therefore, Allah the Almighty provided respite and imparted such a strat- egy that would fulfil the oath and also not cause any harm. If Allah the Almighty makes one understand some tactic, then it is lawful in the Shariah as that has also come the same way by which the Shariah has come. So there is no harm in it. 3 1.
