With Love to Muhammad (sa) - The Khatam-un-Nabiyyin — Page 304

304 With Love to Muhammad sa the Kh ā tam-un-Nabiyy ī n other words, the death of Hazrat Ibr ā h ī m occurred 4 years after the revelation of the verse of Kh ā tam-an- Nabiyy ī n. Now, an ordinary, dull person can understand that if the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa understood the verse of Kh ā tam-an-Nabiyy ī n to mean that every kind of prophethood has ended forever , he could never have made this statement, “If he had lived, he would have become a prophet. ” He could have said, “He did not remain alive so that he does not become a prophet,” but he did not say this. Instead, he said, “If he had lived, he would have become a prophet,” even though he should have said, “If Ibr ā h ī m lived for a thousand years, he would not have been a prophet. ” This is because a prophet, who has been told that no prophet shall come after him till the Day of Judgement, can only say at the most, at the time of the death of his son in front of him, that, “He was a good and pious boy, but since my God has told me that no prophet shall come in this ummah , as long as this child had remained alive, he would not have become a prophet. ” This would have been his statement, but he did not say this. Other than that, there is another narration, and it is very interesting. In it, the issue of ba‘ad has been ended completely. Hazrat ‘Al ī bin Ab ī T ā lib ra narrates: a ار:ل a ابراiKم a توB‘ a dFا a Cال a و a @icہ a اﷲ a ‘c< a اeFب‘ a خرج a و a D_eتہ a و a cWAتہ a و a BجاLتہ a Gار Mہ a اGہ a :cم a ‘c< a اeFب‘ a ادخل a و a BدeBہ a G]ہ a اeFاس a خرج a و a بہ
