Continuation of Prophethood according to Ah ā d ī th 305 a اHہ a اﷲ a و a اGا a B`ال a Cبرہ a B a Mدہ a :cم a و a @icہ a اﷲ Hب a ابن a eFب Hazrat ‘Al ī ra narrates that when the son of the Holy Prophet sa , Ibr ā h ī m, died, he sent a message to his mother, Maria, to prepare for the funeral. Hence, she bathed Ibr ā h ī m and wrapped him in the shroud. Thereafter, the Holy Prophet sa brought the body out with his companions, buried him in the cemetery, and placed his hand on the grave and said, “By God, he is a prophet, the son of a prophet. ” 300 Since Hazrat ‘Al ī ra was a member of the household, his narration is clearer and has details of the actual event. This event took place about 4 years after the revelation of the verse of Kh ā tam-an-Nabiyy ī n … What do the scholars conclude from this?
