260 With Love to Muhammad sa the Kh ā tam-un-Nabiyy ī n Tafs ī r Ibn ‘Abb ā s ra is one of the unreliable commentaries because it is narrated by great liars. Im ā m Jal ā l-ud-D ī n Suy ū t ī rh says: ِ ا a اَ:eَْدُوKَْا a َِّتFا a ُ اF[ِّوَال a ُ اFتَّ_َا:iَْر a ِ Kٰذِہ a ُ ْرiَA a ً @َبَّاس a ِ ابْن a َF GَجَاiِKْل a رُوَاتgَُا a َ و a ً َّۃiِ=َْرG 256 These lengthy commentaries which are attributed to Ibn ‘Abbas ra by the commentators are unwanted and their narrators are unreliable. As a result, it is not only proven that Farhan Khan relied upon a very weak had ī th in support of his points, but he also brought a completely unauthentic commentary in support of them! Farhan Khan should bear in mind that: ُِّ ﻣُمت ُّٰ وَاهلل ْ ابَِﻓْﻮَاﻫِﻬِﻢ ِّٰ اهلل َ ﻧُﻮْر ﻟِﻴُﻄْﻔِـُٔـﻮْا َ ﻳُﺮِﻳْﺪُوْن ٖ ﻧُﻮْرِﻩ َ ﻛَﺮِﻩ ْ وَﻟَﻮ َ اﻟْﻜٰﻔِﺮُوْن They desire to extinguish the light of All ā h with the breath of their mouths, but All ā h will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it. 257 No matter how much people try to extinguish the light which has been kindled by All ā h, they will never succeed!
