202 With Love to Muhammad sa the Kh ā tam-un-Nabiyy ī n evident from the various quotations from his writings presented in this book. The “second situation” of Farhan Khan would only apply if the nature of the prophethood of Hazrat ‘ Ī s ā as was to be converted from prophethood for his people, the Israelites to prophethood for the whole of humankind. The Holy Qur’ ā n restricts the prophethood of Hazrat ‘ Ī s ā as to his nation only, that is, the Ban ī Isr ā ’ ī l as it says: َۙ اِرسْٰٓءِﻳْﻞ ِْۤ ﺑَىن ٰ اِىل ً وَرَﺳُﻮْﻻ And (he was) a Messenger to the children of Israel. . . 217 The only way Farhan Khan’s argument can be applied is if the above verse is removed from the Holy Qur’ ā n or is considered abrogated. However, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jam ā ‘at defiantly holds the belief that not a single verse, not even a syllable , of the Qur’ ā n has been or can be removed or abrogated. Question for Farhan Khan: 1.
