203 Opinion of the Sah ā ba ra , Ā ’immah, and Mujaddid ī n rh Before getting into a discussion of Farhan Khan’s chapter on the opinion of the mujaddid ī n rh regarding the finality of prophethood, it is important to note here that Ahmad ī Muslims definitely hold the belief in the finality of prophethood. No new or old prophet can come after the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa. His prophethood shall continue till the Day of Judgment and will not experience any change or innovation by an old or new prophet. Only such a one can come who is a perfect and complete follower of the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa and has attained prophethood through the spiritual prowess and beneficence of the prophethood of the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa. In other words, his prophethood would not be a new prophethood, neither would it be an old prophethood. It would be part of the prophethood of the Holy Prophet sa.
