Had ī th of Hazrat ‘Al ī ra and L ā Nabiyya Ba‘ad ī 115 prayer was accepted and they were both sent as prophets to take their message to Pharaoh as shown by the following verse: َ ﻓ ُ ﻓَﺎْﺗِﻴٰﻪ َ وَﻻ ۙ َ اِرسْآءِﻳْﻞ ِْۤ ﺑَىن ﻣَﻌَﻨَﺎ ْ ﻓَﺎَرْﺳِﻞ َ رَﺑِّﻚ َ رَﺳُﻮْﻻ َّ اِان َۤ ﻘُﻮْﻻ ْ ؕﺗُﻌَﺬِّهبُْﻢ َ رَّﺑِّﻚ ْ ﻣِّﻦ ٍ ابِٰﻳَﺔ َ ﺟِﺌْﻨٰﻚ ْ ﻗَﺪ ؕ اﻟْﻬُﺪٰى َ اﺗَّﺒَﻊ ِ ﻣَﻦ ٰ ﻋَىل ُٰ وَاﻟﺴَّمل “So go ye both to him and say, ‘We are the Messengers of thy Lord; so let the children of Israel go with us; and afflict them not. We have indeed brought thee a Sign from thy Lord; and peace shall be on him who follows the guidance. ” 106 This shows that Hazrat H ā r ū n as was made a prophet long before the time when the Jews migrated with Hazrat M ū s ā as and All ā h, the Exalted, instructed him to separate himself from his people for a period of 40 nights, during which he appointed Hazrat H ā r ū n as as leader of the Jews. In summary, here is how the various events took place during the life of Hazrat M ū s ā as in sequential order: 1. Hazrat M ū s ā as perceives a fire on the Mount 2. Upon his arrival there, he is told of his mission to warn Pharaoh 3. He asks that his brother, Hazrat H ā r ū n as , be appointed as his helper 4. All ā h, the Exalted, makes Hazrat H ā r ū n as a prophet to help Hazrat M ū s ā as 5. Eventually, the Jews embark upon the Exodus from Egypt under the leadership of Hazrat M ū s ā as and Hazrat H ā r ū n as 106 S ū rah T ā h ā , 20:48
