G ãÃNI ö P £R´ ö Z êGy M âIÁMÃG¾G“ I [ÂH´M¸G¿M ö O Z I ®MÃG” [ ghairil-maghd ū bi ‘alaihim wa ladd ā llin :] Those who have not incurred Thy displeasure, and those who have not gone astray (that is, neither should we be the ones to incite your displeasure through our actions nor should we be the ones to lose the path). subh ā na rabbiyal-‘az ī m : Holy is my Lord, the Most Great, who is above all blemish or flaw. sami‘all ā hu liman hamidah : Allah listens to him (accepts his prayer) who praises Him (ponders on His attributes, and calls out that all excellences are focused in the being of the Almighty). rabban ā wa lakal-hamd : O Our True Lord, Thine is the praise, because all wonders are gathered in You. hamdan kath ī ran tayyiban mub ā rakan f ī h : Entitled to the praise which is bountiful, pure and blessed. subh ā na rabbiyal-a‘l ā : My Lord who is higher in status than anyone else, and is above every fault or defect. attahiyy ā tu lill ā hi was-salaw ā tu wat-tayyib ā tu : All salutation is due to Allah and all Prayer and everything pure. assal ā mu alaika ayyuhan-nabbiyyu wa rahmatull ā hi wa barak ā tuh : Peace be upon thee, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. assal ā mu ‘alain ā wa ‘al ā ‘ib ā dill ā his-s ā lih ī n : And peace be on us and on all righteous servants of Allah.
