سم ۳ "In Makkah Muhammad began his mission first by himself obeying the Law of God and then by inviting his relatives and others to join with him and enter the fold of Islam۔It was an open invitation to all, given in a peaceful and friendly manner, but people opposed him and gradually this opposi- tion became violent and fierce۔The Prophet and his com- panions suffered persecution at the hands of the Quraish for 13 years, until they were forced to leave their property, their homes, their relatives and, above all, the Ka'bah, and seek refuge in another town called Medinah, merely to pro- tect their faith and practise it freely۔But the Quraish did not let them live in peace and practise their faith even in Medinah and began a series of raids and attacks on them in order to destroy them and their faith۔Thus war came into Islam as a logical step to self-protection and self-preservation۔When the Quraish opposed and obstructed Muhammad and his com- panions, who were practising their Faith in their own way, and even waged war to destroy them, Muhammad was left with no option but to defend his faith and his life with all the power he could gather۔Under these circumstances, they were given permission to fight back and defend themselves and their faith from the aggressive designs of the enemy"۔کہ میں حضرت محمدمصطفی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے مشن کی ابتداء اس طرح کی کہ پہلے تو آپ نے خود اللہ کے قانون کی فرمانبرداری کی اور پھر اپنے رشتہ داروں اور دیگر لوگوں کو دعوت دی کہ اسلام قبول کر کے آپ کے ساتھ شامل ہو جائیں۔یہ دعوت ایک صلائے عام تھی جو پر امن اور دوستانہ انداز میں دی گئی لیکن لوگوں نے آنحضرت (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) کی مخالفت کی جو رفتہ رفتہ شدید اور نوفاک شکل اختیار کر گئی۔نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) اور حضور کے صحابہ نے قریش مکہ کے ہاتھوں اور '
