~ X ~ He was elected to the office of Khalifah, the Supreme Head of the Jam a ‘at, on 22 nd April 2003 after the demise of the fourth Khalifah, Hadrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad. Because of the persecution of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jam a ‘at in Pakistan, he is currently based in London from where he champions Islam’s message of love, peace and tolerance.
