~ IX ~ About the Author Hadrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the fifth spiritual successor [Khalifah] and great grandson of the Promised Messiah and Mahd i , Hadrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian, is the Head of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Jam a ‘at spread over 200 countries. He is the elect of God and voice ‐ articulate of the age. Hadrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad graduated from Ta‘l i mul ‐ Islam College, Rabwah, Pakistan, and in 1976 received his M. Sc. degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. Thereafter he devoted his life to the service of the Jam a ‘at and went to Ghana under the Nusrat Jahan Scheme. There he served for several years as Principal of various Ahmadiyya Muslim Schools and as the Manager of the Ahmadiyya Agricultural Farms. In December 1997 Hadrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad was appointed as N az ir ‐ e ‐ A‘l a [Chief Executive] of S adr Anjuman Ahmadiyya, Pakistan.
