972 AL-ISTIFTA-SUPPLEMENT TO HAQIQATUL-WAHI إني أرى فِي وَجْهِكَ الْمُتَهَلِّلِ شَأْنَا يَفُوقُ شُيُوْنَ وَجْهِ ذُكَاءِ ور روشن روتے تو شانے مے بینم که برشان آفتاب فوقیت با دارد I find in your blessed countenance Such glory as surpasses the glory of the sun. شَمْسُ الْهُدى طَلَعَتْ لَنَا مِنْ مكَّة عَيْنُ النَّدَا نَبَعَتْ لَنَا بِحِرَاءِ آفتاب ہدایت از مکه بر ما طلوع کرد چشمه بخشش از غار حرا برائے ما بجوشید The sun of guidance rose from Makkah upon us, And from the cave of Hira' gushed forth a fountain of generosity. ضَاهَتْ أَيَاةُ الشَّمْسِ بَعْضَ ضِيَائِهِ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُ فَهَاجَ مِنْهُ بُكَائِن بعض روشنی ہائے او به روشنی آفتاب مے ماند پس چون دیدم بے اختیار مرا گریه آمد Even the light of the sun only partially resembles that of his, When I beheld him my heartfelt cries reached a crescendo. نَسْعَى كَفِتْيَانٍ بِدِيْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ لَسْنَا كَرَجُل فَاقِدِ الْأَعْضَاءِ بیچو مردان در دین محمد صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم کوشش می تعلیم ما مثل آن شخصے نیستم کہ بے دست و پا باشد Like the brave young men, we strive for the religion of Muḥammad; We are not like the one who is bereft of limbs. أعْلَى الْمُهَيْمِنُ هَمَّنَا فِي دِينِهِ نَبْنِي مَنَازِلَنَا عَلَى الْجَوْزَاءِ خدا تعالی در دین او ہمت ہائے ما را بلند کرده است منز لہائے خود را بر جوزا بنامے نهیم The Ever-Watchful God has raised the standard of our commitment to His religion; We make the lofty Gemini as our stopping place. [Publisher] شُئُون appears to be a scribal error. The correct word is شُيُون. .
