[ARABIC ODE BY THE PROMISED MESSIAH] أعْمَى قُلُوْبَ الْحَاسِدِينَ شُرُورُهمْ أغرى بَوَاطِنَهُمْ لِبَاسُ رِيَاءِ دل حاسدان را شرارت ایشان کور کرد و جامه ریا باطن ایشان را برهنه نمود The hearts of ill-wishers are blinded by their mischief; Their garb of ostentation exposes their inner state. أذَوْا وَفِي سُبُلِ الْمُهَيْمِنِ لَا نَرَى شَيْئًا أَلَذَّ لَنَا مِنَ الْإِيْذَاءِ مرا ایذا دادند , ور راه خدا ہیچ چیزے لذیذ تر از اذیت مرا نیست They persecuted me. But in the paths of Allah the Protector; I find nothing more delightful for me than this pain. مَا إِنْ أَرَى أَثْقَالَهُمْ كَجَدِيدَةٍ انن طَلَيْحُ السَّيْح وَ الْأَعْبَاءِ بار ہائے ایشان نزد من بار نو نیست من فرسوده سفر و فرسوده با رہا هستم For me there is nothing new in this baggage; For, I am used to-and fond of this journey and its baggage. نَفْسِن كَعُسْبُرَةٍ فَأُحْنِقَ صُلْبُهَا مِنْ حَمْلِ اِبْذَاءِ الْوَرى وَ جَفَاءِ نفس من مثل ناقه است پس کمر آن ناقه از اینا با وجفا با لاغر شده است My soul is like a she-camel whose back has become lean With the injustice and cruelty inflicted by her people. هذَا وَرَبِّ الصَّادِقِينَ لَأَجْتَنِى نِعْمَ الْجَنَا مِنْ نَّخْلَةِ الْأَلَّاءِ من همین اصول دارم مگر قسم بخدائے راستبازان که همیشه من از درخت نعمت با میوه می چینم These are my principles! I swear by the Lord of the truthful, I pick the best fruit from the date-palm of divine bounties. 949
