Reply to the Announcement & Letter 67 ُ ْن ی ِ َابِك َ الْمُلُوْك ُ وَالسَّلَط ی ي ْ أَنْوَارَهَا حَتّٰى يَتَبَرَّك َ بِثِ ِّ بَرَكَة ً وَأُجَل 1 ْكَ ی ي ْ سَأُوْتِ ِّ إِن [I shall bestow My blessing on you and shall illumine its light, so much so that kings and rulers will seek blessings from your garments. ] 1 Footnote: Whoever believes in Allah and His Signs should believe that Allah sends revelation unto whomsoever He pleases among His serv- ants, whether he is an apostle or not, and speaks to whomsoever He pleases, whether he is a Prophet or one of the Mu h addathīn [recipients of divine revelation]. Have you not observed that Allah has informed [us] in His Book that He spoke to the mother of Moses? He said: 1 اَل ْيِفاَخَت َو اَل ْيِنَزْحَت١ۚ اَّنِا ُهْوُّدٓاَر ِكْيَلِا َو ُهْوُلِعاَج َنِم َنْيِلَسْرُمْلا۰۰ Similarly, He sent revelation to the Disciples and He spoke to Dhul- Qarnain. He has informed us of this in His Book; then, He gave us glad tidings by saying: 2 ٌةَّلُث َنِّم َنْيِلَّوَاْلا۰۰ َو ٌةَّلُث َنِّم َنْيِرِخٰاْلا۰۰ 1. ‘…Fear not, nor grieve; for We shall restore him to thee, and shall make him one of the Messengers’ ( S u rah al-Qa s a s , 28:8). [Publisher] 2. ‘A large party from among the earlier people. And a large party from the later ones. ’ ( S u rah al-W a qi ‘ah, 56:40–41) [Publisher]
