In the language of the Arabs  ö Öö ç » Õ º is said to be syn. with  ø æ ø ] Ù º and therefore the sun is said to be  ø ] Öô Ó ø è º when it is declining at noon and when it is setting. ]ø Î ô Ü ô ] Ö  $ ×F ç é ø Öô  ö Öö ç » Õ ô ] Ö  $ Û »  ô ]ô ÖF o Æ ø  ø Ð ô ] Ö × $ n» Ø ô : Observe Prayer from the declining of the sun at noon to the darkness of the night (17:79): So that the command expressed by the words  ö Öö ç » Õ º and Æ ø  ø Ð º and Î ö  » ]F á ø ] Ö» Ë ø r »  ô seems to include the five daily Prayers; for by the word  ö Öö ç » Õ º are expressed the ¾ ö ã »  º (after noon Prayer). and  ø  »  º (late after noon Prayers) and by the word Æ ø  ø Ð ô ] Ö × $ n» Ø ô are expressed the two Prayers of sunset and night fall ( Ú ø Ç »  ô h º and  ô  ø ^ ð º ) of which each is called  ô  ø ^ ð º and by the words Î ö  » ]F á ø ] Ö» Ë ø r »  ô is meant the morning Prayer (  ø ×F ç é ö ] Ö» Ë ø r »  ô ), but if  ö Öö ç » Õ º is taken to mean the setting, the word  ö Öö ç » Õ º expresses the three Prayers ¾ ö ã »  º and  ø  »  º and Ú ø Ç »  ô h º.  ø  [aor. mø  » Öö ç » inf. noun  ø Ö» ç º ]  ø Ö ^ ] Ö  $ Ö» ç ø : He sent down the bucket in the well; he Pulled up or out the bucket from the well.  ø Ö ^ u ø ^ q ø jø ä ü : He sought the object of his want.  ø Öø ç » iö ä ü : I treated him gently.  ø Ö $ o ] Ö  $ o » ð ø : He made or brought or drew the thing near to another thing.  ø Ö $ o  ô q » × ø n» ä ô Ú ô à ø ] Ö  $  ô m»  ô : He let down his legs from the couch.
