نقص نقب rubbish فى : He banished, exiled, excommunicated, expelled, repudiate, drove away, carried off أَوْ يُنْفَوْا مِنَ الْاَرْضِ : Or they be expelled from the land (5:34). نَقَبَ aor. يَنْقُبُ inf. noun نَقْبٌ[ : He dug through or into anything. نَقَبَ الْعَيْنَ : He performed upon the eye the operation for cataract. نَقْبَ فِي الْأَرْضِ : He went away or, through the land. نَقَبَ عَلَى قَوْمِهِ : He acted as or was their leader. نَقْبُوا فِي الْبِلادِ : They journeyed through the land seeking for a place of refuge )50:37( نَقِيْبُ قَوْمٍ : The head, chief, leader of a people; one who is set over a people and taken notice of the action of people and responsible for them. اِثْنَيْ عَشَرَ نَقِيْبًا : Twelve leaders )5:13( نَقْبٌ : A hole perforation or bore in a wall; a narrow road in a mountain or a large hole through a thing. وَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوْا لَهُ نَقْبًا : They were not able to dig through it (18:98). نَقَذَ نَقَرَ ]aor. يَنْقُذُ and نَقِذَ aor. يَنْقَذُ inf. noun نَقْذُ[ : He became safe; he escaped. انْقَذَهُ : He saved or rescued him and recovered it from such. فَانْقَذَكُمْ مِّنْهَا : And He saved you from it )3:104( اِسْتَنْقَذَ is syn. with لا يَسْتَنْقِذُوْهُ مِنْهُ أَنْقَذَ : They cannot recover it from it (22:74). ]aor. يَنْقُرُ inf. noun نَقَرَ الطَّيْرُ نَقْرٌ : The bird pecked or picked up a grain with his beak; he struck a thing with a مِنْقَارٌ i. e. kind of pick axe; he made a snapping with his thumb and middle finger and made a sound with them; he made a light sound to put in motion the beast or horse by making his tongue adhere to his palate and then opening or suddenly drawing it away; he bored or perforated or made hole into a thing with a مِنْقَارٌ )pick(. إِذَا نُقِرَ فِي النَّاقُوْرِ : When the trumpet is sounded )74:9( نَاقُورٌ : A horn in which one blows or the angel shall blow on the Day of Resurrection. مِنْقَارٌ : The beak of a bird. نَقِيرٌ : Split in a date-stone, hence paltry or worthless لا يُؤْتُوْنَ النَّاسَ نَقِيْرًا : They will not give men so much as the little hollow in the back of a date-stone (4:54). نَقَصَ aor. يَنْقُصُ inf. noun نَقْصٌ or نُقْصَانُ[ : He decreased it, diminished it, curtailed it, lessened it or made it defective, imperfect or 789
